Hogan Tire & Auto operated for many years on the Waltham/Watertown line on Route 20 leading into and out of Boston. In 1997, we purchased and built a new tire and auto facility closer to Interstate 95 at the corner of Route 20 and Route 117. In 2016, the facility received a substantial renovation to meet the customer service standards of Hogan Tire & Auto, including the addition of multiple service bays and a spacious customer seating area.

Our tire shop and car service center in Waltham is located at 945 Main St, conveniently situated near major highways so that it’s easy to stop in, get your car serviced, and be on your way to either Boston, the North Shore, or the South Shore. If you don’t have time to wait for your car to be serviced and need to leave it at our shop for the day, public transportation in Waltham is available via the MBTA Fitchburg-Boston Commuter Rail line along with regular bus service.

Called late afternoon because my tire pressure light was on. They told me to bring the car right over. I was told it would be 60-90 minutes. I got a call 30 minutes later. Air was leaking from the valve stem. They replaced it and the car was ready. Very professional. Quick service and reasonable pricing. Thank you!

Very honest mechanics. Originally, they thought the flat tire needed replacement bc they saw the "ring of death" on the outside of the tire, which can apparently turn part of the tire's inside to "powder" and make it unsafe to drive. Later, when they put the car on the lift and examined the tire more closely, they found that the "powder" was not present and a simple patch would do the job. This saved me $200+ and I wouldn't have known the difference at another mechanic who might be less honest. Highly recommend this place!

Hogan’s are practical and think outside the box. My tire needed repairing but I could not find the anti theft nut to take off the wheel. Usually this would prevent the repair but they gave me the option of taking off the special nut and replacing it with a normal one. We live in a safe neighborhood so this was fine for me and was a creative value add. In the waiting room had coffee and a place to charge devices. Though once the lug nut issue was solved, the wait was quite short , perhaps 15 min. Repair was under $50. Very reliable and transparent on proeblema and possible solutions. Mechanic and front desk staff were friendly and polite. It ildoes get busy though so I advise bringing it early as 7:30 or 8 am to avoid waiting.
